My little eater...
Now anyone who knows me knows that I am a picky/bad eater. I never had that LOVE for food. My mom said I was the worst eater as a kid. So when it came time for Samantha to start on foods I thought "okay here we go"....But she LOVES her food! We started her on cereal and fruits/veggies at 4mths...she loved it all. I made most of her purees ( so much fun) At 6mth we added meats into the mix...she didn't LOVE them alone so we mixed with fruit and that went much better.
At 8mth old she started to refuse her purees( with the exception of oatmeal which she loves). So I though about starting her on table foods. Everyone thought I was nuts..."shes gonna choke, shes too little, stop rushing her" But here I was with my baby who was refusing purees, what you want me to not feed her! So I started the table food journey...
We have been at it for almost a month and I am so glad we started! She eats EVERYTHING, she is a wonderful eater...must get that from daddy =)

2010 in review
Well here we are at the end of 2010, this has been the best year of my life! We welcomed out little girl and I have been able to stay at home with her and watch her grow! The best gift I could have ever asked for....here is 2010 in pictures and Happy New Years everyone!
January - My NY Jets had a chance at the Superbowl...we came up short but still a great run! I was feeling great and doing up Sammie's room!
February- We had a big snow storm! It was Samantha's "first" snow! Her room was almost done and we were getting excited!
March- I had my baby shower! Samantha got so many gifts she was so loved before she ever got here!
April came and we waited for Samantha to come!
On April 13 2010, at 4:40 pm, my life changed so many ways...I became a mommy! Samantha Grace was born weighing 6lbs 10oz and 19 3/4 inches long!
May- started with my mom taking a week off to spend with me and Samantha, we went out, shopped and just enjoyed our time with Samantha. It was also my first mothers day
June- Frank and I celebrated our one year wedding anniversary, Samantha started sleeping through the night and it was getting HOT out! It was Franks first fathers day, Samantha's first Tony awards, a go at cloth diapers (didnt work out) and Samantha's first dance recital!
July- Samantha had her first forth of July! She went in Uncle Marks pool for the first time (hated it) we went shopping in the city with Grandma and Aunt Diane, and just enjoyed the summer and cute dresses and bows!
August- We went to a family picnic,take two of the pool (loved it),Samantha started to roll over and sit up! We went to Six flags, the 18th ave feast She also started solids!
September- The weather was getting cooler, I celebrated my 24th birthday, Samantha moved to her crib, we went to CI with Gog and Grandma Laney, Sammie was sitting up great! moved into fall clothes! We also celebrated the Jewish new year! Football season started.. LETS GO JETS!
October- Samantha turned 6mths old! We got her ears pierced, went apple/pumpkin picking, went to citifield to see the Mets (UGH we suck), Frankie is 26th bday, Sammies first Halloween, she was tinkerbell and monster baby!
November- We celebrated Thanksgiving, Sammie moved to the big tub, and she started army crawling!
December- We celebrated Hanukkah and Christmas...we also had a BIG BIG snow storm!
As you can see 2010 has been an eventful year for us! We cant wait to see what 2011 brings!
