23 weeks!!

WOW I am a horrible blogger!! But I will try to keep up from here on out. I am 23 weeks along with this pregnancy. Over all it has been a great pregnancy, morning sickness went away at about 14 weeks and we have been smooth sailing since then. We did find out what we are having so let me introduce to you....

We are SO thrilled to be welcoming baby Jake! I feel so blessed to be having one of each! It is what Frank and I have always wanted!

Pregnancy: 23 weeks 

Weight Gain: 7 pounds

Sleep: Sleep is ok, just have to pee all night long

Gender: Team BLUE!

Names: Jacob Thomas

Feeling: Pretty good, Tired by the time the day ends, but that's mostly from running after Samantha all day long

Health:  So far so good!

Movement: He is a mover! So much more active then Samantha was! He is moving all day long

Belly: I am mostly all belly!

 

 

 

 

 

The name game

With Samantha, Frank and I knew that would be her name if she was a girl from the day we started to talk about kids. I was never a second thought. With baby 2.0 it was a little harder to pick names, so as soon as we saw those two lines pop up we started brainstorming names.

For a boy it was easier. When I was pregnant with Samantha we liked the name Jason for a boy. This time that didn't feel right so we went back to the drawing board. We have decided on Jacob Thomas for a boy, we will call him Jake. Jacob is a good strong male name and Thomas will be for my uncles mother who passed away in September.

Now a girl name was VERY hard for us. Since we already have a girl with our all time favorite name we were at a road block with this one. We tossed around a lot of names...Victoria,Emily,Kate,Olivia,Sophia, I could go on and on....but the name we chose for a girl is Allison Hope. I love the nick name Allie and Hope goes with Samantha's middle name Grace...you have to have Grace and Hope in your life

So In about 6 weeks or so we will know if we have a Jake or Allison on the way!!

9 weeks!

Well this has been a eventful weeks for me. I have a wicked cold on top of morning sickness. Making for a very tired and cranky pregnant mama! But we are chugging along....Here is my 9 week bump/bloat

• How far along? 9 weeks
• Total weight gain: no clue I haven't gotten on the scale
  
• Maternity clothes? some pants, not shirts yet
  
• Stretch marks? None
  
• Sleep: horrible, Frankie is also sick so he is snoring! keeping me up on top of being sick and having a stuffed up nose
  
• Best moment this week: just loving being pregnant with #2
  Miss Anything? sleep
  
• Movement: not yet!
• Food cravings: Red meat and Doritos
  
• Food aversions: nothing just let, I just don't really have an appetite for anything
  
• Gender: Thinking Boy this time around
  
• Labor Signs: Nope.
• Symptoms:Gas, my boobs are huge and sore, and I am nauseous after I eat
  
• Belly Button in or out? Out since I have an outie
  
• Wedding rings on or off? On.
• Looking forward to: Dr Visit in one week!
  

Nice weather!

We have been really lucky with this winter, we have had no snow basically and I'm so thankful! Today we went to the park and Samantha just loved it. She loves to climb and run and just be out.

7 weeks!

Morning Sickness...

Has arrived ! With Samantha I didn't have any of this. For now it is just lots of nausea after I eat but man it's knocking me down. Maybe it's that with the running around after a toddler all day but by 3pm I'm exhausted! I just hope that in a few week I will get me energy back.

Ok lets get back in this....

WOW its been a long time since I last posted! Life has been busy and with a almost two year old running around we are non stop on the go! So here is an update and I promise to keep my blog up now since I have the app on my Iphone!

Samantha is almost 2! She is just amazing. I have never met a kid that is just hilarious, she is very active and advanced physically. She can jump, climb up and down the stairs holding on to the rail, balance on one foot, and much more. He vocabulary is gr owning each day and she has the squeakiest voice just like her mama! She is a great eater and sleeper. She is climbing in and out of her crib so its time for a big girl bed :(

She also has a big announcement to make......

BABY NUMBER 2 IS ON THE WAY!
Frank and I wanted our kids 2.5-3 years apart so In December we tossed the birth control out and let whatever happens happens. By the end of January that beautiful "pregnant" showed up on the digital test! Our due date is 10/19/12 which is my aunts birthday!! I will start the pregnancy survey like I did with Samantha on Thursday when I turn 7 week!
